Active in the field of intellectual property since 2022, Nina mainly assists in filing and prosecution of Italian, European and international patent applications, patentability opinions and freedom to operate (FtO) opinions in the fields of life sciences, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

Prior to entering the field of intellectual property, Nina obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) and the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) (Trieste, Italy).

During more than five years of academic research experience she has worked simultaneously on multiple projects in the cardiovascular and oncology fields, contributing in particular to the advances in the field of gene therapy, and specializing for patents in the fields of biotechnology, antibodies, RNA-based therapeutics, and gene therapy.
